Ryan Kelsall spent his twenties laying turf for other people's companies and cataloguing everything they cut corners on. Dee Okafor kept a rugby club's pitches alive and knew exactly why natural grass loses to Manchester weather. NeverMow, founded 2014, is the argument they stopped having.

Twelve people, one trade park unit, no mowers.
The showroom at Brindley Trade Park has every range laid out in full-size bays you can walk on, jump on and spill coffee on. The kettle is always on, the dog biscuits live under the sample desk, and nobody follows you round with a clipboard.
Two fitting crews handle around 350 lawns a year between them. Ryan still quotes every commercial job himself, and Dee runs the site visits with a moisture meter and strong opinions about drainage. The rule since day one: nobody sells a lawn they would not fit in their own garden.
